Description:
  • Design of an advanced geostatistical algorithm that allows inferring mobile network quality measurements in a Big Data environment.
Goals:
  • Develop a scalable system for the total prediction of the system coverage of a mobile network.
Results:
  • The network parameterization by mobile operators has been analysed in depth.
  • The network parameterization that they make has been analyzed in depth mobile phone operators.
  • It has been possible to develop a scalable system for predicting the Network coverage from crowdsourced data.

The organisation CUMBERLAND SOLUTIONS S.L. was the beneficiary of a grant awarded for the aforementioned project, under Order ETD/805/2022 of 15 July, which establishes the regulatory framework for the award of grants to support R&D related to advanced 5G and 6G technologies for innovation ecosystems, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Description: The 5GPERFORMANCE project aims to develop a solution based on crowdsourced data and machine learning techniques to measure, detect anomalies and predict the performance of 5G networks. The platform will provide information on trends in key network quality indicators, facilitating decision-making to optimise the deployment, operation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, thereby contributing to the development of services and activities that are increasingly reliant on digital connectivity.
